ISRO has unveiled a 3D image of the Vikram lander, positioned at the Moon's South Pole. This visual was achieved using the anaglyph technique, a simple method for creating 3D visuals from stereo photos. The image was constructed from NavCam Stereo Images, with the left photo in the red channel and the right in the blue and green channels. For a 3D experience, ISRO advises using red and cyan glasses. This release came shortly after the Vikram lander concluded ground tests since its landing on August 23. Though the lander receivers remain active, the payloads were switched off. The lander will enter sleep mode once its solar power and battery are exhausted, with hopes of reactivation around September 22.
