The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has confirmed that the Chandrayaan-3 mission is progressing smoothly in space. Shortly after its launch, the spacecraft's health was reported as normal, with the first orbit-raising maneuver successfully completed. Over the course of its journey, Chandrayaan-3 will undergo several more orbital adjustments before embarking on its trajectory towards the Moon, covering an impressive distance of nearly 384,000 kilometers. This mission, developed at a cost of Rs 615 crore, represents India's second attempt to land on the Moon, aiming to establish itself as a lunar-faring nation and join the league of elite space exploration pioneers. Excitement mounts as the spacecraft approaches its lunar orbit arrival date of August 5, with a planned landing on August 23.
