In the annals of philosophy, I find no one as intriguing as Diogenes of Sinope. A cynic, a man, a dog. The term "Cynic" is derived from the Greek word "kynikos" meaning "dog-like". Some quotes that are attributed to him which piqued my interests were:
I am a citizen of the world.
To be rich is not the concern, but to be worthy of wealth.
The sun, too, shines into cesspools and is not polluted.
